As part of our manufacturing of coldrooms and insulated panels, we also manufacture insulated coldroom doors for chiller and freezer applications. Hinged and sliding doors are available in standard and bespoke sizes, including our new semi-rebated hinged doors.

Doors can be supplied on a delivery-only basis for self-installation, or supplied and fitted by Colsec as replacement doors on existing coldrooms.

Hinged Coldroom Doors (Face-Frame)

Our face-frame hinged coldroom doors are manufactured in-house and use the same polyurethane core as our coldroom panels. We use industry-standard coldroom door components and fittings, with additional options available as required, including vision panels and door protection.

Sliding Coldroom Doors

Our sliding coldroom doors are manufactured in-house and are available in standard and bespoke sizes. Sliding doors are particularly useful where there is limited space for a hinged door to open, and can be supplied with manual or automated opening systems.

Hinged Coldroom Doors (Semi-Rebated)

Our semi-rebated coldroom doors are available with a face-frame or as a frameless door blade for replacement applications. The frameless design is particularly suited to replacing existing semi-rebated doors, allowing the new door blade to be fitted into the existing arrangement without complication.

Our coldroom doors have a polyurethane (PU) insulated core and an anodised aluminium frame. The door leaf has a white foodsafe finish as standard, with weather leathergrain finishes available in a range of RAL colours. We use industry standard door furniture, fixtures and fittings with additional options available depending on the door type and application.

Typically door thickness is 80mm for chillers, and 100mm for freezers.

Yes. We can manufacture replacement doors for existing coldrooms, including hinged, sliding and semi-rebated doors. We can manufacture the replacement doors to suit the existing opening and temperature requirements. Available delivery only, or Colsec to supply and fit.

Yes, we can manufacture coldroom doors to bespoke sizes. Coldroom doors can range from relatively small openings through to larger doors, with sizes available up to 3000mm wide × 3000mm high. If you’re unsure what size or configuration you need, send us any measurements you have and we’ll help determine the appropriate door specification for you.
