Large-scale Coldroom Food Processing Facility

A large-scale coldroom installation was required as part of a new food processing facility in Bury, designed specifically for the handling and processing of olives. Working from the client’s design, the project involved the integration of multiple temperature-controlled environments, processing areas, and support spaces to create a fully functional, efficient production facility.

Project Result

We built a coldroom and temperature-controlled areas within the existing warehouse, covering both the ground floor and mezzanine for production and storage use. PIR insulated panels were used to create the controlled spaces, with mineral fibre fire walls and fire stopping installed to meet fire separation requirements. Doors and service openings were fitted throughout to suit access and equipment movement.
