Dual-Compartment Coldroom Installation
An importer of Spanish artisan produce supplying chefs and restaurants across the UK required additional freezer and chilled storage capacity within newly acquired premises. The project involved maximising the available space to accommodate both freezer and chiller requirements, alongside relocating existing coldrooms into the new facility.
Our task was

Project Result
We delivered a combined freezer and chiller coldstore installation within the client’s new premises, providing increased storage capacity for imported produce. The system incorporated a dual-compartment layout with large sliding doors suitable for pallet truck access, alongside the relocation and integration of existing coldrooms into the new configuration.
The freezer and chiller areas were constructed using high-performance insulated panel systems, with PIR panels specified to suit each temperature zone. Remote refrigeration equipment was installed in coordination with a specialist refrigeration contractor to ensure reliable operation across both compartments.
