Coldstore and Blast Chiller Installation
A coldstore and blast chiller facility was required within an existing warehouse for a vegetable packaging and distribution operation supplying major supermarkets and wholesale outlets. The project called for efficient use of the available space, including maximising height, while creating temperature-controlled environments suited to different produce requirements.
Our task was
Construct a coldstore and blast chiller within an existing warehouse
Maximise the available space including height within the area
Install sliding and rapid rise doors for operational access
Coordinate with the refrigeration contractor during installation
Project Result
We delivered a coldstore and blast chiller installation that maximised the usable space within the existing warehouse, incorporating sloping ceiling sections, and with insulated sliding doors and high performance rapid rise doors for efficient day-to-day operation. The coldroom environments were formed using PIR insulated panels, providing a robust and consistent solution for both storage and rapid chilling of fresh produce. The client was extremely pleased with all works carried out and the speed in which the works were completed.
