We installed a new side-loading mortuary for our valued customer, designed to store up to 4 bodies.
Given height restrictions, a 3-tier rack was the best solution. However, by incorporating ground-level shelf “ladders,” we increased the capacity from 3 to 4 bodies.
Additionally, we ensured there was enough room to store the trolley inside the coldroom, optimizing the customer’s available space.
The mortuary was supplied and installed by Colsec, and included for the rack with 385mm gaps, the additional shelf ladders, 4x 660mm wide stainless steel trays, and the short top manual hydraulic side loading trolley.
